Our Story
Firefly Outdoor Construction is a family-owned company founded in 2020 during the COVID pandemic — created from a moment of uncertainty and turned into opportunity. With downtime during COVID, we chose to invest that time into building something lasting: a company rooted in craftsmanship, integrity, and purpose.
Founded by lifelong friends with backgrounds in the trades and first responder service, Firefly was built from the ground up — with no investors and no shortcuts. Every project reflects hands-on involvement, hard work, and a commitment to doing things the right way.
Faith-centered and family-centered, Firefly Outdoor Construction believes outdoor spaces should bring people together. From custom swimming pools to complete outdoor living environments, we design and build spaces meant to serve families for years to come.
With proven builds completed across the DFW Metroplex, Firefly continues to grow intentionally — expanding westward while maintaining the same level of craftsmanship and values that defined the company from day one.
Nathan & Christen Wolf
Nathan and Christen Wolf are co-owners of Firefly Outdoor Construction and proud parents of two, with another child on the way. Based in Midlothian, Texas, the Wolfs have played a key role in Firefly’s growth throughout the DFW Metroplex.
Nathan is a firefighter, bringing a first responder’s mindset of discipline, reliability, and service into the foundation of Firefly. Christen is an Acute Gerontology Nurse Practitioner.
Jordan & Whitney Hansen
Jordan and Whitney Hansen are co-owners of Firefly Outdoor Construction and proud parents of three. Now intentionally planted in Brock, Texas, the Hansens are building both their family life and Firefly’s presence west of Fort Worth with purpose and long-term vision.
Jordan brings a strong background in the trades, while Whitney serves the Brock community as a school nurse at Brock Elementary.
